I’ve seen people roll joints in many different ways. What’s your preferred method? I usually follow these steps:

1. Purchase Zig Zag or generic brand rolling paper (I prefer Zig Zags as they are the original paper and are most sturdy. The longer joint papers work better for beginners as well)
2. Grind plant so it’s very fine (This helps the joint burn much more smoothly)
3. Use piece of the Zig Zag rolling paper carton as a crutch. Usually about 1/4″.
4. Put plant grinds into Zig Zag paper.
5. Roll it up and lick paper to make it stick together
6. Use lighter or flame to let paper wrap well around the plant grinds
7. Enjoy

There are some great joint rollers that can do everything for you other than grinding the actual plant! The original Zig Zag roller is the best. You can roll a joint very quickly with this method.

    With regards to #5:

After putting the weed in the paper, I usually start rolling from the ends and making my way to the middle. A lot of people begin with the middle – which is okay if you’re a seasoned veteran – but for beginners, getting the ends rolled first allows you to get a more evenly rolled joint.

Also, if you’re a beginner, working with a lot of weed may be the better option as you’ll probably have a lot fall out the ends while attempting to roll.

A dry, poor quality weed will be difficult to roll. Make sure you have some bud that is somewhat moist and not dried out.

    Practice makes perfect.

    Just my two cents.

I’ve found the best way to roll a joint is using one of those zigzag branded joint rollers. They’ve got both the larger joint roller and the smaller one.
